Kofler & Company first opened in 1898 in Manhattan. Although the name has changed over the years, the partners have continued the same commitment to clients that have made the firm successful. In 1970, the firm moved to Rockville Centre where it still remains. The firm operated as Kofler, Levenstein, Romanotto from 1975 until 2018.
In 2018, our name was changed to Kofler & Company to reflect our long history of a team approach to accounting. We are proud that in our six generations of public accounting, the majority of our partners started with the firm immediately out of college and continued on until retirement.
Since all of our current partners are long-term employees who have risen up from staff, we take a personal interest in our employees and the development of their capabilities. We train them in proper accounting and business practices, require continuing professional education and encourage the staff to pursue their certification as well as develop their own specialties.
We are dedicated to providing our clients with traditional accounting, audit and tax preparation services as well as management advisory and consulting. Our partners and professional staff are very involved in providing guidance in the everyday operations of our clients. We draw on our considerable knowledge and expertise in various industries to assist our clients in achieving success in their business and a better quality of life. Our focus is a combination of managing the present and planning for the long term.
